Caribbean Islands

The Caribbean Islands are located southeast of North America, east of Central America, and north of South America. By global standards, these islands are rich in natural resources. Their economies are generally open to free trade, and while their export bases are somewhat limited, many islands are now diversifying their industries. Standard exports include sugar, bananas, eggplant, and flowers, with other crops grown primarily for domestic consumption. Additionally, the distillation and export of rum, a renowned product of the islands, is a significant industry on islands where sugarcane is cultivated.

Located in the heart of the Caribbean, Antigua & Barbuda is the 9th largest country in the region, with a population of approximately 91,295 people.
